….“I can’t count how many times ya’ll have played just the song I need. Your music helps remind me that no matter how alone I feel, God is with me and He will carry me through this valley. Thanks!"

We just have to thank KCBI for a truly great evening at Pantego Bible Church...we can't describe to you the impact Chip's message had on us. We've listened to his show for years now and his message is always so perfectly stated and on target. But hearing his message in person adds a whole new level of IMPACT. He spoke to our hearts and, we're sure to the heart of all those that really listened. Please accept our heartfelt thanks for the event, and for ALL you do in our lives, each and EVERY day. KCBI is truly an awesome force in God's working in our lives!

I attended the Evening with Chip Ingram. The event was glorious! Chip's message was a great encouragement to live  an "all  in"  kind of life. Congratulations to you and the KCBI staff for pulling that together. No small feat, I'm sure. That, plus you still managed to sound rested and chipper this morning. Must be some gooood coffee!

What a wonderful thing for Focus on the Family and CBS to run this ad for human life! God bless them both. Thank you KCBI for this opportunity to extend a word of thanks to CBS and to Focus on the Family for running an inspiring and good message. I will be praying for the CBS organization and Focus on the Family, as well as KCBI, and for the audience. What a blessing the Tebows have shared with us about the quality of life. They will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Thank you for all you do. Especially, helping CBS to know that there are people who will stand behind them. And to CBS, thank you for having the guts to stand up to those who say we should not share this hopeful opinion with others. You may be saving countless lives. We need more of the same, so do the little ones.

BOOK
Living on the Edge: Dare to Experience True Spirituality – by Chip Ingram. Romans 12 is the START HERE for the Christian life. What most Christians sadly misunderstand is that God isn't into religious activities or performance-based Christianity. Instead, Romans 12 reveals to us a relational profile of what it means to be a disciple, as well as a proven pathway to becoming more like Jesus each day. The book looks specifically at Romans, chapter 12 and the small group study looks at what Jesus said and modeled for us about the principles in Romans 12. Taken together, this is a dynamic study that will encourage you to become an R12 Christian.

Q: What is your favorite scripture?
A:
Psalm 51:10 "Create in me a clean heart, O God..." I like to think that if He has a clean palette to work with, then everything after that is done with pure motive. But first, I have to be willing to ask for Him to create it in me. Then, get out of the way so He can do His work. Many times though, as it was with me, brokenness comes first, then the willingness.

Q: What is your favorite book?
A: I really don’t have a favorite one, though I do like a good Tom Clancy novel every now and again.

Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: They seem to change pretty frequently but, at the moment I have two: The new Star Trek Movie and “Defiance” which is an incredible and inspiring true survival story of a group of Jewish people during World War II in Belorussia.

Q: How did you come to know the Lord?
A: It was back in high school. I was a teenager going through some tough times and my Algebra teacher (a member of First Baptist Euless at the time) took me under his wing and led me to the Lord.

Fun Facts:
Let’s see, I’ve been married almost 27 years. I can speak Hungarian and cook up a mean pot of authentic Hungarian gulyas (goulash for American folk). I enjoy gardening, growing Hungarian peppers for pepper stew and growing and grind- ing my own paprika. Let’s not forget making (and eating) all those Hungarian desserts and pastries, too!
