Sharon Geiger
Sharon Geiger is an award-winning broadcast journalist.  She serves as a co-host of Christian News Weekly and is Senior News Director for the Criswell Radio Network.  Sharon has been recognized for excellence in news anchoring and reporting by local, regional and national press associations, including the Press Club of Dallas, The Texas Associated Press Broadcasters and in the past by Scribe, which offered a national award for Christian newscasters.
 
Highlights in ministry include coverage of a recent archaeological dig in Qumran, Israel, with the Criswell College in Dallas, Texas,  coverage of the one-year and five-year anniversaries of the 9/11 attacks from New York City and coverage of international ministry Gospel for Asia’s tsunami relief in Tamil Nadu, India, in 2005. 
 
Another highlight is Christian News Weekly, which she began producing and co-hosting with Dennis Page in July, 2007.  “It’s a real blessing to have the opportunity to tell stories about what God is doing through events, people and ministries here in the U.S. and around the world,” Sharon said.
 
Sharon lives with her husband, Don, and son, Wesley, in Dallas, Texas.
